Telnor's Scroll Wand

When found this wand resembles a hollow tube of silver with an endcap of gold which is set with a pyramidal cut diamond. When the end cap is removed and a spell scroll is sealed within, the mage may now use the wands charges (10d6+15) to cast the spell on the scroll with it costing 1 charge per spell level (maximum of 6th lvl spells), with a casting time of 1. If the scroll has 2 or more spells on it (max of 4) then the mage may pick the desired spell to be cast.
When drained of all charges the wand will use up the scroll before burning out. The wand must be recharged by a mage of 15th + lvl and the wand requires a casting of read magic for each charge and a permanance spell to bind the magic.

This parchment, when touched to a creature for 1 full round reveals general info and its race (not its armor class, hit dice, magic resistance etc...). The creature need not be alive but atleast 25% of its remains must be available. Thus it would be able to identify a dragon if only its bones remained. This scroll will not work on undead, dieties, demons, elementals, unique creatures, or beings without a corpreal body. When found the scoll will (75%) be stored in a sealed bone scroll tube. The scroll is +4 to all S/T's except fire.
This scroll saves the last info stored on it until touched to another creature. Thus when found it may be mistaken for a page from a biology book.

When created these scrolls are attuned to d4 other scrolls. A message written on one will appear on the others as long as they are all on the same plane of existance. When found this scroll will be found alone (75%) or with 1-3 others (25%). Those who have found these scrolls never know how many others are linked (or who has them). To make the scroll work all one needs to do is write on it with any type of marking device, the writing stays in place until someone else answers the first writing, where upon the originel writing vanishes replaced by the writen reply. To be effective as a form of communication the language should be one shared by all the scroll holders, but images and drawings can also be sent. Telnor devised these scrolls to help him communicate and issue orders to his henchmen. And over the years a few of these have been lost or stolen.

Telnor's Paint of Protection

This magical paint can be used to cover an object, granting it +1 protection per coat. A full bottle contains enough to cover about 4' square (a medium shield, 2 long swords, A chest plate of armor, 8 scroll tubes,8 potion bottles etc...). The paint must be carefully painted over the desired object so as to not miss even the smallest area. The paint will last for about 2 months of normal use before wearing off, but items subject to abuse (weapons, armor, etc...) last for only one attack per coating. Thus a shield with 2 coatings will be +2 for the first attack that hits, then +1 for the next that hits.
Items like scroll tubes only lose their bonus if affected by an attack that would strike them directly, such as dragon breath. Any one item may only be covered by a max of 4 coats, coating above this have no effect. This + covers AC and savings throws. This paint is often found in small metal cans instead of the normal potion bottle.
The paint can be of any color. Telnor has feindishly used this paint to make items appear magical so as to sell them for great sums.
The material components for this potion require the blood of a dragon (about 1 pint), powdered rubies worth about 1000 gp per square foot of paint, and the ground up remains of a +1 shield(a shield will yeild enough material to create about 4 square feet of paint).
Xps=1000 Gp value = 800 per square foot of paint.

Always tired of learning new tongues, or casting spells to speak to creatures, Telnor created this earring. When found such an earring will be a silver hoop adorned with several charms (d4+1), each charm translates a different verbal language which matches the image of the charm if spoken within 30'.
These charms may be taken off the hoop (for weight or gawdish looks, etc...), but if away from the hoop for longer than 24hrs (+1 hr per round of the creator) they lose thier ability of translation. Charms from may be interchanged from hoops so long as they arent apart from a hoop past the duration. Thus a mage who found such an item could add the new charms to his hoop, or store his on the spare hoop. 5% of these items will be found with an unremovable charm which can translate as a tongues spell, with a 30' range


Philter of Hate

This evil potion causes the drinker to fall into a berserker rage, with the first being seen after even the smallest sip. The drinker gains a +2 to thaco/damage and loses 2 from his AC. The affected drinker will fight using whatever weapon is currently in his hand (not waiting to cast spells unless they are CT 1 and instantaneos in nature) and will battle to the death or for d4+4 rounds after which the potion wears off. A dispel magic or charm person spell (or a philter of love) will reverse the effects of this potion.
Even the tiniest sip will cause this potion to function, and the rest of the liquid becomes an innert fluid.
